    The flag is hidden under six tiles. One is open at the start and every miss opens another. After a miss the compass shows the direction and distance to the secret country. The compass shows the distance between the centres of the countries.

    How to play

    1. Every day there is one secret country — the same for every player.
    2. You start with one hint. Each wrong guess unlocks the next one; you have five guesses in total.
    3. Hints go from hard to easy: population and area, geography, neighbours, culture and food, the first letter of the capital.
    4. After each wrong guess you see the distance to the secret country and a compass arrow pointing the way.
    5. Type the name in English — alternative names work too, e.g. “Czech Republic” or “Holland”.
    6. Besides the Country of the Day there are two more daily games, Capital of the Day and Flag of the Day — switch above the game.
    7. A new country appears every day at 00:00 UTC (00:00 UTC your time).
